This must have been the longest break in updating my blog. It slipped my mind until a friend of mine asked whats happening with me! and then i remembered!! oh. yaa.. i have a blog.
Looking back at the past few weeks, i wonder what was really happening! I'm done with all the four academic years and yippee.. its all over. All the exams are over and I can relax for a while! But the sad thing is that i can't have the same fun I used to have in my B. Tech life, which flew past a few days ago. Ok!! alright, that's over and done with.
Today, i suddenly woke up (not the physical one) and looked around. I found an article of the lord "buddha".
The cover page of it has the conversation that went on between buddha and his disciple Anan.
It went on like this..
When buddha was on his death bed, he noticed his disciple anan was weeping
why are you weeping anan?, he asked.
"Because the light of the world is going to be extinguished and we will be in darkness"
The buddha summoned up all his remaining energy and and spoke what were to be his final words on the earth:
"Anan, Anan, be a light unto yourself"
how lucky i'm to read this conversation. In fact, it would have been an ordinary moment in my life, i wouldn't have even remembered this ultimate truth, ever, if not for i've written this here.
