Are You Rejected??

No, I am not talking about the rejection in an interview or anything professional. The plot i am going to discuss is "Rejection in love". Are you rejected by your darling in your small life??.. Ohh!! congratulations!! you have experienced that ultimate pain which ever exist and welcome to the clan of "got rejected" ones.

Have this stamp on your hands and you will be honored. ( at least i will honor you for you have destined to bear all the pain of rejection and you are succesful :):):):) )

I often come across many friends of mine who fell in love and simply gets rejected. The word "simply" is only for the outsiders. The one who is actually experiencing it dies with pain.

Many people still believe that "heart breaking" is just an idiom and a metaphor which exists only with characters in our Indian movies.

When your heart breaks, you realize that this not just a metaphor. It causes an actual physical pain. Not just your chest hurts, wait for it, there will be a hollow feeling in your stomach, severe head aches because of all the weeping and the list goes on. The sense of an impending doom gives you sleepless nights.

And to my wonder the pain process was proved technically too. Scientists found that intense rejection activated many of the same brain areas that were active when people felt physical pain. So, rejection really does share a lot in common with physical pain. Grieving is important as it provokes us to cry out to god, thereby, to open ourselves to healing.

The sad thing in rejection is many youth find this particular period as a burden and commit suicide. Unhealthy responses to the pain of rejection inhibit a life of joy, freedom and peace. But responding in a healthy manner, by honestly grieving and crying to god, can strengthen our character. Time is the most powerful healer for a lovelorn.

Blaming the one, from whom you got rejected is the stupidity well defined. After all they have the right to reject. You are not a dictator to make their feelings reciprocated on you..

PS: After reading this, please don't have a doubt whether i have the stamp of "rejection".. :):). I wrote this after seeing many of my friend's agonies..

A Thought Provoking Excerpt.. !

I read this excerpt here and i instantly thought of sharing with you all and i am enthusiastic to have these great lines in my blog.

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day & said ‘Lord, I would like to know what Heaven & Hell are like.’ The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors & the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious & made the holy man’s mouth water.
The people sitting around the table were thin & sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms & each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew & take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery & suffering. The Lord said, ‘You have seen Hell.’ They went to the next room & opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one.
There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man’s mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished & plump, laughing & talking. The holy man said, ‘I don’t understand.’ ‘It is simple,’ said the Lord. ‘It requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.

Old Freinds- Relishing Reminiscences

Sometimes, little and small things keep us excited and energetic for a good amount of time. Don't know why, but somehow nothing touch me like the things my friends do. Some friends call me after 2-3 years, some will text me off and on, some chat off and on and some friends just call once in a year i.e., on birthdays. I feel very great, life is worth living and i'm grateful to god for giving such wonderful friends.

Last month, when i met my school friends, it seemed to me that we all are from some different breeds altogether. Though time separated us, may be time has changed us. Time is such a slut, it can screw anyone. But for our friends, we are same. We are connected almost after many years instantly, not only through a click of mouse( facebook) but also through heart as if there was no time gap at all.

I was in class seven when i met with 3 of my best friends for the first time. We became good friends and in a span of 1 year we were very close. We were enjoying our school days and then suddenly they were shifted to another school. It was really heart breaking for me.. But that was not the end.. It was the actual start of our bonding. These friends whom i thought betrayed me by leaving me alone in the school for 10th standard, are very friendly now and we are almost back into our golden old days.

When time is so tough and so the life around, some incidents like these really gives you a boost and reason for living. Old friends not only bring good old memories but also give us back our trust worthy childhood companions.

School times give us the best friends of our life, as friendship is not conditional, does not depend on any selfish base. Meeting them again after being lost for a long time in altogether a different and difficult situation, is like meeting our roots, our innocence and a real you, which one forget while struggling hard in life.

With days, i mean school days, most of the people have their school life full of fun and that is the only reason they miss it. Nostalgic is just a word, but the feeling i got, just can't express, but, NOSTALGIC should be replaced with a better adjective.

Those moments we met, will definitely turn into memories my dear friends.

The day we met is also a day added to my book of memories.. :):):):)
