The Funny Side of a Language !!

How funny is English !!

Such a crazy language in which there is neither pine nor apple in pineapple, Guinea pig is neither a pig nor it is from guinea,  "Wise man" and "Wise guy" are just opposites. Sometimes I think that all the English speakers should be sent to an asylum for the verbally insane.

The other day when I was peeping through a magazine I came across a paragraph which made me laugh my teeth out that I couldn't resist myself sharing it in this space.

You think you are good in English ??

Then try to get the meaning of this paragraph.

So here goes-

Two individuals proceeded towards the apex of a natural geologic

protuberance, the purpose of their expedition being the procurement

of a sample of fluid hydride of oxygen in a large vessel, the exact

size of which was unspecified.

One member of the team precipitously descended, sustaining severe

damage to the upper cranial portion of his anatomical structure;

subsequently, the second member of the team performed

self-rotational translation, orientated in the same direction taken by the

first team member.

Jack and Jill went up the hill
